It has been a 2 year journey filled with ups, downs. We are looking forward to 2022 and the Melbourne Bridal and Wedding Expo starting our year of expos on Sunday 16 January 2022.
We have a lot of inspiring and knowledgeable exhibitors at our expos. Here are our top 6 tips to help you make the most out of your visit and feel more prepared for your big day.
1. Get your tickets online and early
You can organize yourself and purchase your expo tickets online before the event. Tickets to the Melbourne Expo can be purchased online at a special price. You can also purchase tickets to all our 2022 regional expos (Warragul, Ballarat, Mornington, Geelong, Pakenham & Plumpton ) online.
2. EMPLOY PEOPLE YOU TRUST TO JOIN YOUR SUPPORT CREW AND BRING THEM WITH You
No matter how big or small your bridal tribe, bring your support team to our bridal expos. Make sure they are trustworthy people who will support you and lift you up. They can assist you in making decisions or offering valuable insights and opinions during the expo. They can make the day even more fun.
3. LIST ALL QUESTIONS THAT YOU WANT ASKED AT THE EXPO
Bridal expos offer a wealth of ideas and the chance to meet many suppliers. But you don’t want to leave without the right information. It’s worth taking the time to prepare and having a list of questions ready will allow you to find the right information and stay on track.
4. KNOW WHEN FASHION PARADES STARTS AND KEEP A WHITE EYE ON THE TIME
Fashion parades are very popular at our major Melbourne expos in June and January. You won’t want to miss out on the amazing gowns and suits from top Australian bridal designers and boutiques. Be sure to know when fashion parades will be held so you don’t miss out. You can get a great spot for watching the fashion parades at 1pm and 11am, but it is best to arrive a little earlier.
5. KNOW YOUR BUDGETS, AND STICK TO THEM
Talking with exhibitors is a great way to know your budget and stick to it. It can be frustrating to fall in love with exhibitor services and then find out that they are not within your budget. It might also prove difficult to find a substitute that fits your budget. Before you begin talking to exhibitors, make sure you have an idea of the budget for each element of your wedding.
6. Have fun!
Although wedding planning can seem overwhelming at times, a day with your partner and your support team will make it fun. Enjoy it!
